Forming performance of pump valve casting and packing and packing spacer

In the process of making the pump valve casting, the user will be required to customize the material of various pump valve castings. There are 304, 304L, 316, 316L, CF8, CF3, CF8M, CF3M and other stainless steel valve castings. Products are widely used in petrochemical, metallurgy, chemical, power station, pharmaceutical and other industries, and are well received by customers.


Forming performance of pump valve castings


The pouring temperature of the pump valve casting is 1540~1570°C, and the molding performance of the whole product is good. The shrinkage of the casting is generally 2%~2.5% of the wall thickness. Comprehensive consideration should be given to the design of the press-type design, the placement of the pouring risers, and the choice of molding materials. When the size of the casting is deviated, it can be corrected after the heat treatment. After the correction, the supplementary heat treatment should be performed according to the heat treatment requirements of the parts.

Pump valve castings have good welding performance and can be used for argon arc welding, spot welding and seam welding. Castings allow welding, according to the specific pump, diaphragm pump casing, impeller castings and other parts require special instructions.


Filler and packing spacers for pump valve castings


The size and number of packings for pump valve castings meet the standard requirements and ensure the reliability of the seals. The pump valve packing uses graphite material (without asbestos). Packing spacers are available on request.


Valve stem and stem nut of pump valve casting


The T-slot connection is adopted between the valve stem and the gate plate of the valve, and the T-shaped head of the valve stem is integrally forged to ensure sufficient connection strength. The valve stem is operated by the hand wheel to drive the stem nut.
